The Model 104 is a high reliability energy meter that provides a rugged, waterproof design with options allowing it to measure energy on a wide range of circuits including single phase, split phase and three phase, both three-wire and four-wire. Measured energy is indicated via both a 12V pulse counter output and an isolated output compatible with most remote meter reading systems. An optional radio allows the meter to be read remotely using a Zigbee 3.0 wireless mesh network.

Both the Model 104 and 204 may be read remotely using a Zigbee 3.0 wireless mesh network. A single gateway is required to access all meters on the network and provides USB, Ethernet, WiFi and LTE connectivity options. The EML MeterReader software is a Windows-based application that allows any meter on the network to read in real time. All meters may be read automatically on a user-defined schedule. Readings are stored in a local database and usage reports may be created in a variety of formats.
